Field Trips

Multi-sensorial learning is an important part of schooling at Neev – The Foundation School; children learn best when they can see, hear, and encounter things first-hand. Field trips are a particularly strong way to consolidate learning, as children’s experiences can be directly related to the real world. Our students are taken to various places like a science center, a hypermarket, a farm, an open-air zoo, a bank, a post office, a railway station, a park, a bakery, a fire station, places of religious worship and more such places that facilitate hands-on learning exposures. Children not only learn about their surroundings and the community at large but also about the importance of each and every place they visit. For example, instead of just reading about milking cows, students who visit a dairy farm can observe cows being milked, and possibly even get to try it themselves!
